Police identified a man they found shot to death inside a vehicle early Sunday morning in the unincorporated section of Hyattsville.

The victim was Brian Vasquez Rodriguez, 33, of Adelphi, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Officers responding to a reported shooting discovered Vasquez Rodriguez around 4:15 a.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of Lewisdale Drive, a street lined with single-family homes, Prince George’s County Police said.

Vasquez Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The department’s homicide unit is investigating the shooting and, as of Monday evening, had yet to identify any suspects or a motive.
