Dream State: A Novel
Join us for our in-person Banner Book Club meeting, featuring Eric Puchner and his novel Dream State, named a best book of 2025 by The Guardian, The Times (UK), Lit Hub, NPR, the BBC, The New Yorker, The New York Post, and an Oprah’s Book Club Selection 2025.

About The Book

Written with humor, precision, and enormous heart, both a love letter and an elegy to the American West, Dream State is a thrillingly ambitious ode to the power of friendship, the weird weather of marriage, and the beauty of impermanence.

“Expansive…Explores how we might make meaning of our existence in the face of escalating loss."
- The New Yorker
