A man died after being gunned down in Rockville early Sunday, officials said.

Emergency personnel responded to the 1000 block of Seven Locks Road just after 2 a.m., Montgomery County Police said in a news release.

A man, who has not been identified, had been shot, police said. Though medics rendered aid, the man died on the scene, officials said.

Montgomery County Police have not identified a suspect and continue investigating the incident.
