Montgomery County Police on Tuesday identified the man killed in a three-vehicle crash last week in Four Corners as Moussa Diarra, 35, of Springdale
The incident happened about 10 p.m. Thursday near University Boulevard West and Colesville Road, and involved a vehicle that rolled into a tree, trapping two people — Moussa and a passenger who was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash involved a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Diarra, that was traveling west on University Boulevard East. It struck a guardrail, the curb, two trees and a utility pole near where the road becomes University Boulevard West, police said.
Before it came to a stop, the Silverado also struck the rear of an Acura RDX and a Ford Escape that had stopped at a red light.
Officers pronounced Diarra dead at the scene.
The drivers of the RDX and Escape were not injured.
