Montgomery County Police on Monday identified a Gaithersburg man killed at a Rockville shopping center this weekend after a confrontation with a person inside a restaurant.

Nicholas Njuki, 33, was found wounded just after 2 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Quincy’s Potomac Bar & Grille, at a shopping complex in the 1000 block of Seven Locks Road at the Potomac Woods Plaza.

First responders attempted life-saving measures , but Njuki was pronounced dead on scene.

The gunman drove away from the scene.
